Do picnics include food & beverages? 

All picnics include Still and Sparkling Water. Charcuterie is available as an add on and included in a few packages. Picnics are BYOB for Private locations, Public locations prohibit the consumption of alcohol on site, luckily we have some amazing local Winery partners for that solution! Ask us about your location when you book. You can bring your own food if you wish. We also partner with many amazing local vendors and Wineries who provide food and beverage.

Where are you located?

We are based out of St. Catharines, ON and cater to the Niagara Region. All picnic package pricing includes travel up to 20km out of St. Catharines, ON. Any further will have distance based travel fees added.

How far in advance should I book my picnic?

We recommend booking your picnic as soon as possible. We have standard orders, events and catering on a regular basis and cannot guarantee the date you would like is available. 

 

How do I pay?

You will receive an invoice directly via our website, which can be paid with a credit/debit card. 

 

What should I expect the day of my picnic?

You will receive a text message the morning of your picnic once we are on site and setup begins. You will receive another message once setup is complete. We ask that you plan to arrive accordingly, on time, so that picnics are not left unattended. We will allow for a 10 minute grace period, but anything past that will forfeit your picnic.

 

How long will my picnic last?

Picnic setups will be yours for two hours. If you would like additional time, please let us know when booking. Additional time starts at $50 per hour, depending on the size & setup for your picnic. If you wish to leave ahead of your scheduled picnic end time, please let us know at least 30 minutes in advance. You will be responsible for all picnic items and property of Peachy Keen Events until we return. 

 

Where can I have my picnic?

We can curate picnics throughout Niagara Region and can setup indoors & outdoors at both private and public locations. 

Location examples:

• Your backyard or living room

• Hotel or motel room

• Public Parks

• Wineries & Vineyards

• Farms & flower fields & beach

If you would like a picnic in a public location, you will be responsible for any permits, and associated costs, needed. Failure to provide a permit at least seven days ahead of your picnic will result in cancellation & no refund will be issued.

Policies, Terms & Conditions

Payment Terms

Once your picnic is confirmed, you will receive an invoice via our website. All picnics require a $100 retainer that is NON-REFUNDABLE. A payment is required to secure your date & time. The remaining balance must be paid no less than seven days prior to your picnic date. If the remaining balance is not paid seven days prior to the event, the picnic will be cancelled and the retainer will be forfeited. If your picnic is booked within seven days beforehand, the FULL PAYMENT is required at the time of booking. 
 

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel, Peachy Keen Events does not offer refunds for any picnic once payment has been received. Should you need to reschedule your picnic for any reason, you must do so at least one week in advance of your initial scheduled picnic date and can reschedule for a new date within a 2 month period.

If you miss a scheduled picnic for any reason, and you have not already rescheduled the picnic with Peachy Keen Events, the picnic will be considered forfeited and all payments you have made in connection with such picnic shall be surrendered.

Deposits are non-refundable.

Weather

In the event of inclement weather, we recommend having a backup location plan or rescheduling. 

If rain is in the forecast, you can provide us with an indoor location or re-schedule. We will work with you to provide a mutually agreed upon new date and this can be within 2 months of the original scheduled booking.

If it starts to rain, while you're having your picnic, unfortunately there is not anything we can do about it.

 

Picnic Decor

All items and decor used during the picnic are property of Peachy Keen Events and are to be returned in the same condition as you found it. Any lost or damaged equipment will be charged accordingly and may result in dry cleaning, professional cleaning and/or replacement charges.
